How to pack your bras when you travel

One of the best thing I brought along for this trip were the zipped up circular laundry bags for bras.  I overlapped one piece over the other and was able to squeeze in 3 bras to a bag.  As there is a hard plastic casing at the top and bottom of the bag, my bras stay in shape all the way.

Here is another reason why you need to do that.

While we were weighing up our bags for our family of 4 at the British Airways check in counter, the staff made us transfer some of the stuff from one bag to another because it was overweight.


Can you imagine on opening your bags in public, all your bras started popping out all over the place? It would have been humiliating moment for me if they were not safely enclosed in the laundry bag.

When you share your luggage with your spouse or partner, you can also use the bags to hold each person’s undies so that you will not have a hard time searching all over the luggage for one or the other’s undies.

7 February 2017 Hotel Central, Sofia

7 February 2017  - From Belgrade we traveled 389km to Sofia in Bulgaria.  It was more than 4 hours drive away.  We were supposed to stay at Sofia Plaza Hotel but put up at Hotel Central instead.

06 February 2017 Holiday Inn, Belgrade

06 February 2017 - From Novi Sad, we were driven to its capital, Belgrade.  We were supposed to stay in Tulip Inn Putnik but stayed in Holiday Inn instead.  A nice hotel close to the city centre.

6 February 2017 Hotel Master, Novi Sad

6 February 2017 - Novi Sad in Serbia is 279km away from Bosnia & Herzegovina.  It was close to 5 hours drive away.  It is the second largest city in Serbia.  We stayed at Hotel Master which is a nice hotel to stay in as it is near the city centre.

4 February 2017 Hotel Hollywood, Sarajevo

4 February 2017 - Bosnia & Herzegovina is 235km away from Dubrovnik.  It is more than 4 hours drive but the trip was shortened as we visited Mostar enroute.  We stayed in Hotel Hollywood in Sarajevo.

This is a business class rated hotel which have seen better days.  The carpet looks like it needs some cleaning.
